Buford and
Festus attended the Annual Hedgehog Toss
at the county fair.
This popular event had six men competing.
Each man had six buckets.
Each bucket held six mama hedgehogs.
Each mama hedgehog had six baby hedgehogs
(otherwise known as hedgehoglets).
How many legs are there in the competition?
The answer is . . . 6,060
There are 6 men, so that's 12 legs (assuming
none of them is maimed).
They've got 216 mama hedgehogs (six each in six
buckets times six men) with four legs on each
hedgehog. That's 864 legs.
Then there's them 1,296 baby hedgehogs (6 for
each mama) adding 5,184 legs.
That's a grand total of 6,060 legs.
