Festus and Buford were making fun of
each other's accent. They asked Cousin Daisy, a
native of Kentucky, to decide who is more
smarter.
Festus says, "Loo-uh-vill" is the capital of
Kentucky, but Buford says "Loo-iss-vill" is the
capital of Kentucky.
Which one will Daisy say is correct?
A ton of people got this one right. Here are a few of the more notable answers . . .

As a native, Miss Daisy will be driven crazy by B & F - I learned my capitals in the 5th grade and both she & I know that Frankfort is the capital of Kentucky.
Here are a couple asides that Festus & Buford might enjoy. . .most blondes (I encourage my niece to repeat all jokes of this kind as "silly people") so most silly people think that the capital of Kentucky is 'K'!!!
Out in Boone country, I believe most residents would say "loo - uhh - vull" is the correct local pronunciation.

As a native of Kentucky, Cousin Daisy will reply that neither know what they're bragging about . . . since true Kentucky blue-grass . . . uh . . . blue-bloods will point out the correct pronunciation is Loo-i-vull. And, she'll correct both when she explains that the CAPITAL of Kentucky is Frankfort.
