There are two rooms seperated by a long hallway, with closed doors in each room.
In one room there are three light switches, in the other room there are three lightbulbs.
HOW do you determine which lightswitch correlates to which lightbulb if you can only walk down the hallway once.
No you can't see from one room to the other and this is not a play on words.
The answer is . . .
Turn the "A" switch on and the "B" switch off.
Then turn the "C" switch on for 20 minutes; long enough to allow a light bulb to get good and hot.
Then turn off the "C" switch and walk to the other room.
Examine the three light bulbs.
The bulb that is on is controlled by switch "A", the bulb that is off and is cold by switch "B", and the bulb that is off and hot by switch "C".
