Mike from YP.com spent months wooing me with stories of his new baby girl, I can't believe I got taken again! special package for me only, $100/month, guaranteed 25 visitors to my website, top listing -- reality is I'm buried in hundreds of others

Fortunately, there are many other high-integrity options for SMBs and consumers in the local business listings/search space. http://local.yodle.com is one of these from www.yodle.com.

if scam = fraud, and yp.com = fraud, then yp.com = scam also.

yp.com = scam     yp.com = scam    yp.com = scam
yp.com = fraud     yp.com = fraud    yp.com = fraud

yp.com is a fake yellow pages website

yp.com steals money

yp.com uses very deceptive tactics to withdraw money from your bank accounts.

yp.com loves ripping people off

LiveDeal who owns yp.com yp.net and yellow-page.net owes 33 states money because they stole from its citizens:

"Attorney General Charlie Crist today announced that Florida and 33 other states have reached an agreement with a telephone directory company resolving allegations of deceptive business practices. YP Corp., commonly known as YP.com, and its subsidiary Telco Billing, Inc., have agreed to settle allegations that they used activation checks to obligate businesses and organizations to pay for an enhanced listing on YP.com’s online yellow page directory. More than 40,000 Florida consumers could be eligible for refunds."

YP.com is a SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! They claimed we signed up for their service and sent a bill after the "trial period" was over. They even claimed they had a voice recording of someone at my business confirming the service, but when they were going to play the recording back to me as "proof" I got disconnected. This happened 4 times in a row until I finally flipped out and demanded to be removed from whatever it was they were doing. YP.com is NOT associated with any yellow pages at all. Just google "yp.com scam" and find out for yourself.

Companies like them disgust me!

YP.com is a total scam. They make a living by stealing from others. Here is their phone number so you can tell them how you feel about that.

They are still scammers. They list businesses without any agreement and later send bills which look like Yellow Pages bills. Bill could be anything fron $39.95 to $300. They also provide fake reports telling that business received hundereds page views and clicks. Stay away from this guys!!!
