The Kid from Brooklyn takes on old Yeller
Click to watch video - Kid From Brooklyn Yellow Pages
The Kid from Brooklyn turns his ranting toward the Yellow Pages.
What he fails to understand is that the Yellow Pages continue to drive value for local businesses, and that while he might not use them, millions of others use them quite frequently.
That being said, the traditional Yellow Pages is an easy kicking dog, but it is rather disrespectful to all those honest, hardworking businesses that wisely invest in directive media.
We advise clients to continue advertising in the Yellow Pages, but to closely monitor the performance using call tracking numbers.
The Internet (search engine optimization and search engine advertising) is a viable alternative in attracting high quality clients.

WOW! Hilarious
Is The Kid From Brooklyn on TV?Get him a guest spot on Mad TV.
Don Rickles genetically engineered with Archie Bunker,Sam Kinison and Ralph Cramden powered by a six pack double latte grande.(a smidge of Rodney Dangerfield tossed in for genius timing)
He’s funnier than 99.999999% of the shows now on TV
…except maybe for the Family Guy.
Thanks, made my day.

Value? I shell out over a grand a month for two phone book ads. While I realize the importance of the Yellow Pages in some demographic circles (old people use them…kids don’t), it is largely an anachronism, and a prima facie example of “inactive media”. I don’t see the returns on my Yellow Pages investment like I did ten tears ago. Still, I need them…as much as they need me I suppose. Those days will soon be over.
Tree huggers…where are you?????
